María del Mar Montes Díaz
María del Mar Montes received her Law Degree from the Faculty of Law of the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, with a Masters degree in Taxation, taught by the School of Accounting and Administration of the same university.
- She began her career in 1995 attached to the Judicial Power of Querétaro State until 2000, where she served as Acordista in the Civil Court, Assistant Planner of the Civil Division, Secretary of Agreements in the Municipal Joint Court and Secretary of Agreements the Family Court of the Superior Court of Justice of Querétaro.
- From 2000 to 2002, she served as Legal and Public Relations Consultant from various real estate companies in the industry.
- In the periods 2003-2006 and 2006-2009, she served as General Secretary of H. Council of El Marqués Municipality, Querétaro, where in addition to her activities, she was responsible for the Legal Direction, Technical Management, Civil Registry Offices, Legislative Affairs and Municipal Regulations concerns.
- In 2010 she was invited to work as General Manager for Regulatory Reform, attached to the Tourist Operation Undersecretary of the Federal Government Ministry of Tourism, being in charge of Directorates for Standardization, Verification and Tourism Facilitation. During hes tenure, she was responsible for the supervision and operation of tourist Mexican Official Standards, the National Registry of Tourism, the Executive Committee of Tourism, the Tourist Guide Accreditation throughout the Republic, and the substantiation of the Administrative Procedure Violation to tourist service providers around the country.
- From 2012 she served as a trial attorney in the fiscal, civil and family areas.
- She specializes in Administrative Law, Government and Political Relations Management in order to building consensus and substantiation of administrative procedures at the federal, state and municipal fields.
- She has worked actively in the construction of public policies and development planning advising, as well as programs for legal strategies coordination as part of interdisciplinary and intergovernmental groups as project leader, highlighting her participation in the Standing Committee for the State Reform of 2004-2006, through the execution and coordination of inter-municipal forum.
- Since 2005 she is member of the Barra Queretana, Colegio de Abogados, A.C. (Queretaro’s Bar Association), where she serves as Secretary of the Board for 2012-2014.
